The Best Wedding DJ in the West Midlands

MisterFox at the Wedding Industry Awards

Winning the title of 'Best Wedding DJ' in the West Midlands was unexpected and quite emotional. As the award is judged based on clients votes, I was overwhelmed by my couples responses. Knowing that you have given couples memories that will last a life time, is a great feeling. A massive thank you to all my lovely couples that took the time to vote for me, and leave such wonderful comments. Here are a handful of those comments:

Misterfox was fantastic! Tom and I were both impressed with his professionalism both before the wedding and on the big day. He was friendly and genial and offered his expert advice in an accessible and approachable way. Tom and I both liked that he played our first dance song to us over the phone to make sure it was the version we wanted at the wedding. Most importantly though, on the day of the wedding, he kept the dance floor busy all evening and kept our guests smiling and having fun!
Mrs Ashleigh Gloster (Smith)

MisterFox was absolutely fantastic! I probably spent a bit too much time on the dance floor but I was having so much fun I couldn't tear myself away! Everybody enjoyed themselves, and the fact he had my husband dancing by the end, (and my 94 year old grandad) was a sight I never thought I'd see!
Mrs Sarah Behan (Jordan)

We can't praise him highly enough. Many guests complimented the playlist. Brian judged the mood of the evening really well and kept the dance floor full at all times. The music choices were appreciated by all, old and young. He was lovely to deal with and really made our day special. I would recommend him every time. What a great guy and excellent DJ!
Mrs Rebecca Savage (Jamieson)

Choosing a DJ for our wedding was one of the things we wanted to get right as it's one of the main things that makes the evening of a wedding reception so much fun and enjoyable. Brian is just one of those chilled out people who is easy to chat to and is so accommodating, nothing was too much hassle and we trusted him to do what he does best. He had everybody up on their feet dancing and he made our evening one to remember!
Mrs Jessica Taylor

Brian was professional right from the first point of contact. I hadn't ever booked a DJ before, nor had ever been married before - so it was all new and yet I trusted Brian from the start and instantly felt relaxed in the knowledge that he would do a good job. He was excellent and had most of my guests on the dance floor for most of the night! Perfect.
Mrs Joanna Houlston (nee Rolfe-Smith)

Brian was fantastic as our wedding DJ. He listened to everything we had to say about what we wanted and delivered it in the big day in fantastic style. The dance floor was packed all night thanks to Brian and everyone at the wedding commented on how good they thought he was. Best DJ at wedding ever.
Mr Scott Bass

Brian was really keen to incorporate our playlist from the go and importantly he was honest enough to tell us if he thought that a certain song would empty the dance floor. To say the night was a great success is an understatement, we had lots of comments from our guests about the how good the party was. There wasn’t one time in the whole evening that the dance floor was empty!! and I think a large part of that was Brian knowing what to play and when to play it.
Mr Martin Bircham

MisterFox was brilliant throughout the whole process. We chatted pre wedding to make sure he got everything right for us and understood us as a couple. He even played us the version of the first dance song so he got it right. On the day he was kind and understanding as well as brilliant. He dealt with drunk guests demanding songs brilliantly!
Mr Henry de Zoete

MisterFox was the best DJ we could have asked for. He was efficient (I didn't actually see him come in!) and he played beyond the time booked for. My husband and I had an eclectic list of songs as our guests all had very different tastes (including ravers, rockers and goths who are pretty hard to please!) and yet the playlist blended seamlessly. He even played a geeky song from a TV show we (and as it turned out, MisterFox) loved. Oh, and he even got my dad dancing for the first time in years!

The Wedding Industry Awards

The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) ensures that there is a credible, reliable, independent regional and national awards process. They are the only client-voted regional and national awards in the wedding industry and the 60-strong judging panel is second to none in its breadth and depth of expertise and experience. This means that the results have real meaning and are useful to both the entrants and anyone organising a wedding who is looking for great wedding suppliers both regionally and nationwide.

Based on average voter scores and feedback from customers from the past 12 months, the 2016 Awards saw 24,500 votes cast for 1,225 entrants. Of these, 930 independent companies made the shortlist selection with the regional winners announced at a series of regional events that took place in November 2015.
